Stefan Milicevic has received a 24-year suspension from professional tennis after being found guilty of directing a match-fixing network. The International Tennis Integrity Agency confirmed that the 29-year-old fixed six matches between 2022 and 2024, competing directly in five of those contests, while attempting to manipulate another six encounters. It was announced on Thursday, a Serbian tennis player has been banned from the sport for 24 years for overseeing a “corrupt network” of match-fixing.

Authorities stated that Milicevic also attempted to enlist various other professional athletes into his illicit scheme, which ultimately led to additional players engaging in match manipulation. Throughout the proceedings, the athlete—whose career-high ATP ranking reached 1,338—refused to cooperate with investigators.

Alongside the lengthy ban that runs until October 8, 2050, Milicevic was issued a $70,000 fine, equivalent to 62,400 euros. The disciplinary measures strictly prohibit him from participating in, coaching at, or attending any official tournaments sanctioned by major tennis governing bodies worldwide. Milicevic, whose highest ATP ranking was a lowly 1,338, did not engage or co-operate with the investigation, according to the ITIA, and was also fined $70,000 (62,400 euros). The ITIA added: “While suspended, Milicevic is not allowed to play in, coach at, or attend any events organised or sanctioned by World Tennis, WTA, ATP, the Grand Slams, or any national association.
